I cannot think of a better way to introduce Sarah and Jeremy to the blog than with an especially explosive laugh from Sarah and that not-quite-apologetic smile cracking across Jeremy’s face.

This, this is them.

We started out their engagement session at Beth Marie’s on the Denton Square.

And, as you can see from the picture below, we weren’t about to leave any man behind.

Ooh! Let’s play a game and count how many time Sarah laughs in this short blog post . . . this is #2 . .  .

#3 . . .

It’s hard to tell because we can’t actually see her face in this one . . . but I’ll let this one slide.

#4

YOU GUYS! I love this. I love your reactions to each other. I guess I just love y’all. Together. (happy sigh)

Oh, and #5.

There’s that explosive laugh again – #6. It made so many appearances throughout the session and I couldn’t be happier. I love when people feel free to laugh during my sessions!

I’d like to think that it’s a combination of me being really funny and Sarah just loving laugher in general.

Yeah, girl.

Yeah. Y’all look good.

There’s something about the way Jeremy holds Sarah. It’s encompassing and tender and real.

That boy loves holding that girl.

#7

Sarah and Jeremy, thank you for being so stinkin’ cute together. Thank you for laughing.

Here’s to more laughing pictures on your upcoming wedding day! Holla.

I got a call from Arlinda two weeks or so before her wedding.

She had decided that she needed engagement pictures and could I pretty please fit her in? (insert cute Arlinda smile)

If you know Arlinda, you know no one can say “no” to this cute-as-a-button human being. I was so pleased to find an open evening in my calendar just for a quick mini-session for my old journalism buddy from our days of working at the North Texas Daily together in college.

She told me she didn’t need anything extensive. She just needed one good picture. (These are just a few of my personal favorites.)

There’s just something so satisfying about seeing someone you knew once, being so happy.

Don’t get me wrong, Arlinda was always smiling when I knew her before she was with Anthony.

But seeing her now, in Anthony’s arms, beaming?

She was wearing a smile with so big it looked as if her tiny body could have just burst with happiness at any moment.

Arlinda, I’m so happy for you. And your happiness.

I hope you got your one, good picture and many more.

Brandy and AG. Where do I begin?

They’re a fun-loving, laid back couple whose story of how they met was summed up by Brandy as, “He thinks he got me and I think I got him.”

We met up one evening MONTHS ago (I’MSOBEHINDONBLOGGING) for their engagement session in Deep Ellum and I believe we had a fun little time together, us three.

Get it?

They fit together.

Brandy and AG’s session was filled with personalized touches, like these stick figure drawings they’re holding.

Anytime Brandy and AG leave each other little notes or write each other cards on special occasions they draw these little stick figures of each other  along with it.

So of COURSE they drew life-sized ones for their engagement session.

Yes, that’s Chuck Norris in the background. AG may have been a bit more excited about this fact than Brandy but . . .

These two stressed that they wanted casual, goofy  engagement photos. But I MUST say, Brandy and AG, y’all can sure work it with the best of them.

My favorite part about this session was the way we ended it.

AG instructed us to all put our hands together and on 1, 2, 3, we disbanded with “GO TEAM!”

I’m so excited for their wedding day and April will be here before we know it!

GO TEAM!

I’m putting this post together while James gets his cool, new curl-friendly haircut before we leave for our cruise on Saturday! We’re so excited but I’m trying to get as many posts out as I can to tide all my blog readers over for the week that we’ll be gone.

So, back to Britny and Carrigan. It’s so fun to look back on these photos that I took months ago — in the time since this session this cute couple has already tied the knot and been married for over two months so I have those photos to post soon too!

Britny has one of those country hearts that adores big Texas hair and cowboy boots so she and Carrigan knew that the perfect place for their session would be the one and only Fort Worth Stockyards.

I loved all of the sweet laughs shared between Britny and Carrigan but when the time came to work the more serious side, these two had that down as well.

It’s been nothing but a pleasure to photograph Britny and Carrigan and I’m so excited to blog their wedding in the near future too!
