I met up with the gorgeous Cline family a couple of weeks ago for their photo session around the Granbury town square. Just watching their interactions together through the course of the shoot it was entirely evident that their home is filled with silliness, hugs, and complete adoration of each other.
Fun flashback story time: Audriana and I grew up going to the same church. When I was in second grade I was convinced that she was THE COOLEST junior high girl alive and so I worked up the nerve and invited her to my birthday party. AND. SHE. CAME. Although I’m sure jr high Audriana had a lot of better things to do other than attending a second-grader’s birthday party, she showed up AND with Lisa Frank glow-in-the-dark wall stickers as my present.
That moment solidified in my mind that Audiana would forever be someone I looked up to.
Needless to say, getting to photograph her and her darling family over a decade later, was such a special treat and an honor for me!
I just feel like this sequence of photos really encapsulates what it is to be a sister.
Hunter and Audriana, y’all have a beautiful family — one definitely worth looking up to. Thank you for allowing me to photograph y’all in this season of your lives.
Last time I saw Emily and Logan they were a newlywed couple pulling away from their wedding reception. This next time I met up with them, they had added “mom” and “dad” to their repertoire.
A few days before Christmas and on their first visit home to Valley View since their move to West Virginia after the wedding, we all got together for our third photo shoot together — only this time the difference was having sweet baby Molly in tow! Â I was so excited to meet her!
Look at those teeny, tiny pursed lips. I can’t handle it.
After Molly decided she had just about enough of this picture-taking business we finished out the shoot with some sweet shots of Emily and Logan soaking up the last bit of that pretty Texas sunlight.
It is such a joy to see my brides and grooms turn into moms and dads. Thank you, Emily, Logan and sweet Molly for letting me document this precious season of your lives.
My sister is five days out from her due date.
For her very first baby.
A baby boy.
Jasper.
Jalesa, the oldest of the four siblings and my only sister, could be holding her son ANY. DAY. NOW.
OOH, or I could be holding my very first (blood-related) nephew ANY. DAY. NOW.
My sister will become a real live MOTHER to a tiny human being any. day. now.
I am so excited that I had to write a blog post about it.
When I think about Kaitlyn and Clayton’s wedding day, I think about sweetness.
Working with sweet people is just the very best thing.
Kaitlyn and Clayton celebrated their wedding this past December beginning at Trietsch United Methodist Church in Flower Mound.
Look at those faces. I just love it when my brides and grooms are of the expressive face variety.
After family portraits we headed back outside for some nighttime wedding party and bride-groom portraits.
Soon afterward the reception was in full swing at the Bridlewood Country Club.
Kaitlyn and Clayton, thank you for being such sweet people to work with. I’m so happy for you two and excited for all your new married life together will hold!
