Gosh, I just had such a great time at this session.

Katie and Matt are just really great.

Yah. Hi, gorgeous people.

Thanks to Matt’s wonderful mom, we stopped for some fancy-shmancy s’mores in the middle of the shoot. Not only was this sweet to photograph, it was also sweet when Katie and Matt offered me a s’mores of my own to eat before heading on to the next location. Yum, yum, yum!

We ended the session with some good ‘ole Dallas skyline and a spiffy outfit change.

I seriously love everything about this couple and this engagement session. Don’t even get me STARTED on how EXCITED I am to shoot their January wedding! EEKAH!

Ashley and Albert are just the ideal couple to photograph.

Why, you ask?

They basically just laughed their way through the entire shoot.

They make each other incredibly happy and it shows.

And I love that about them.

Can’t wait to blog about their precious October wedding!

Our friends Keri and Nick got married in September at the Main Street Bistro in Jacksboro and we could not have been more ecstatic to photograph their beautiful wedding day.

When I was going through their photos I kept noticing that James and I repeatedly took relatively similar shots of Keri and Nick in their prospective dressing rooms, such as in the next six images.

Keri is a super-talented hair stylist, so of course it was important to her that I took lots of photos of her  wedding up-do that one of her other super-talented stylist friends created for her.

Their ceremony ended at the perfect time for us to run go take bride-groom portraits during sunset.

Y’all are seriously a some-kind-of-beautiful couple.

Nick was off having a good ole time when it was time for us to take off, but we were so happy to have been able to snag photos with Keri before hitting the road.

Keri and Nick, I’m so happy for you two and think y’all are absolutely wonderful together.

James and I are honored that you would have us document this most special of days.

I’m just really, really stoked to be able to work with Justine and Jon.

They’re delightfully in love, they’re both artists, and they’re just really fun to be around.

Also, Justine shares my affinity for candy — hence the first portion of their session being in a candy store on the Denton Square — yum!

Look at this above photo — aren’t they just delightful?

Another reason to adore Justine and Jon — they included this Star Wars reference in their engagement session.

I cannot express how excited I am for Justine and Jon’s April wedding at the McKinney Cotton Mill. Huzzah!
