kara and michael

Have I mentioned before that I love outdoor weddings?

Well, I do. I love outdoor weddings.

There, I said it.

Kara and Michael’s wedding last April was at The Orchard and James and I so enjoyed photographing the day!

Kara’s mom embroidered all of these hankerchiefs! Such a sweet, thoughtful detail.

Kara, you are b-e-a-U-ti-ful.

Their ceremony was timed perfectly because the light was just right for bride-groom portraits immediately afterwards. Ceremony timing is particularly important when planning outdoor weddings, especially if you’re planning to take bride-groom portraits afterwards. When in doubt during planning, always feel free to ask your photographer when the best lighting will be. We looooove to help!

Well actually, I guess I can’t personally speak for every single photographer in existence, but I’m the sure the majority of us would fall under the “helpful” category.

There was much bridesmaid fun to be had in the photo booth.

Hope your first five months of marriage has been amazing, Kara and Michael!
