Because the world needs more of this bride and this dress.
OOH GIRL.
You are hauntingly beautiful, you know that?
Give me a bride, a drop veil and Chandler’s Gardens and I could make portraits all the live-long day.
Nina and Cliffe — there is a wealth of love between these two. It flows out from them and reaches far and wide.
It was an absolute treasure to witness it, be inspired by it, and be touched by it.
Bita and Jack are the kind of people who leave you with a full heart. So much tenderness and care between these two.
I am beyond honored that they trusted us to document their McKinney Cotton Mill wedding this summer, and equally as honored to have been able to know them in such a precious season of life. Enjoy a few (/awholebigbunch) of my favorites, beginning at Bita’s parents’ gorgeous home where the ladies got ready.
Y’all, getting ready in a room with light-colored walls and lots of windows is such a gift to your photographer and your resulting wedding photos, you have NO idea.
Winning bridesmaid trait #764: she holds up a magazine while you’re getting into your wedding dress and says, “You look better than Kim Kardashian on her wedding day.”
And the reason I love first looks is every single photo after this sentence:
 WORK it, JackSON.
The stunning showpiece for Bita and Jack’s ceremony was the sofreh, a nod to Bita’s Iranian heritage. The spread was laid out so meticulously by a dear relative of Bita’s.
WHATEVER, I WILL take photos of cute children at receptions. It’s just going to happen.
My heart is going to explode now from how much I adore these two and their wedding day, so I better go take care of that. Bye.
