Sweet Scarlett’s two-year-old portraits are hopefully an accurate portrayal of what her second-year of life will hold — lots of giggles, running around  and some downright fierce fashion sense (courtesy of momma).

Happy second year of life, Scarlett!

The Frank family holds such a special place in my heart. I photographed Casey and Grady’s engagements and New Braunfels wedding in my first year of JZP and have since met up with them for two other photo sessions before this round of photos in December. Their precious family grew since I had last photographed them, so I was excited to get to play with sweet Sawyer this time around too!

Gotta love that New Braunfels river-bottom scenery, right?

Thank you, Frank family, for having me out to New Braunfels again to document this season of y’all’s lives. X’s and O’s!

I am so blessed that my job allows me to work with wonderful people not only in DFW but all over! I met up with this lovely family in Georgetown at the beginning of December for their photo session.

Thank you, you beautiful people, for letting me photograph your family. It means the world to me.

November is a great month because it holds all the anticipation of fall, Thanksgiving, pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks and pre-Christmas excitement but without days holding so many to-do’s that you can’t even enjoy any of it. Yes, I enjoy November for these reasons AND because this month held so many sessions with so many wonderful clients.

For starters, I got to photograph an anniversary session for Laura and Laramy, whose engagements I photographed back in 2010 I think?? A long time ago, for sure. I thought it was so sweet that they wanted their anniversary photos taken at their wedding venue – Lost Oak Winery in Burleson.

November was the month I got to introduce my dear blogging assistant, Danielle! All of this blogging catch-up would not be possible without her. Plus, isn’t she just really adorable too?!

The Luttmer family had me come out to their family land to take some extended family portraits. We all braved the wind to get some sweet shots!

It will always be an honor to be asked to photograph another photographer and Julie’s college graduation portraits were no exception. I was especially honored because she drove all the way from Lubbock for the session! Congratulations on graduation, Julie!
